Guided Learning Hours
9 hours plus additional scenario-based learning which are delivered as 2 days (virtual or face-to-face).
Assessment
A Question and Answer paper completed at the end of the day and a scenario-based practical exercise.
Learning outcomes
The delegate will be able to:
- Describe, in detail, a problem, its nature, scope and impact
- Gather and interpret information to identify possible solutions to a problem
- Prepare a summary of the options providing facts and evidence
- Apply a simple decision-making technique to evaluate options to arrive at the best solution
- Plan the implementation and communication of the decision
- Create a detailed and SMART action plan that fully plans both the implementation and communication of the decision, thoroughly describes responsibilities and details resource requirements (including people and finance)
- Describe which monitoring and review techniques could be used to evaluate outcomes
