This equality and diversity training course is aimed at all levels of an organisation from lower level employees to management, designed to raise awareness of the importance of equality and diversity. By the end of the course, each delegate will be able to understand the difference between equality and diversity opportunities and their effect on your organisation.

Each participant will be able to recognise the effects of stereotyping and prejudices on individuals and be able to identify harassment and bullying behaviour. On top of this, the difference between banter and bullying will be clearly distinguished. 

By the end of this course, participants will be able to appreciate current legislation, such as the Equality Act 2010 and managers’ responsibilities in following it. Participants will also understand the effects of perception and assumption when cross-culturally communicating.

This course of equality and diversity training includes both individual and group work, using practical activities and discussions.

Delegates attending this course and completing an assignment can gain the ILM Level 4 Award in Managing Equality and Diversity in an Organisation.
